When I went back after the party she was not there again so we told Adam what had happened and he said he would call back in a couple of days after he checked on what happened. I finally found Adam and he added the people. Then the day of the party I was calling to add 2 more people for the party and she was nowhere to be found. The banquet person I set up the party with, Amanda, was never to be seen again after I paid in cash. The menu cards were missing from the table and to finish the night, a lopsided birthday cake made in their own bakery was served. Apparently the broken fireplace flue (which they knew about before the party started) filled the room with cold wind so friends sitting by the fireplace were freezing. In the room it was barely 61☏ with the heat on. Don’t forget the $2.00 for the cheese! I’m writing this on a Sunday, where you’d think there would be a full house. My husband ordered a burger, yes, $19.00 for a burger and a mound of fried. I ordered a Caesar salad, but instead of Caesar dressing, it was nothing but oil and vinegar (mostly vinegar). Meat was a bit dry and the potato dumplings were kind of heavy. I ordered the sauerbraten, which is my favorite meal, but was disappointed with the quality. Was disappointed in prices (*yes, I know the cost of everything has gone up) and the quality of the food was downgraded from when I was there last. 5 months ago I was looking forward to having a good anniversary dinner with my hubby, but it turned out not to be as good as I expected. It was really nice to get together with family in such a pretty place.ĢMagz Z. My aunt asked for tea and they never brought it out. Dessert was cake that had a chocolate cream inside and they also served coffee. When we were eating I noticed my uncle asked for bread as well and I'm guessing they told him the same thing. We waited for the food to arrive and when it did it was actually very tasty and the meat was cooked to the perfect temptation thankfully- because skirt steak can be tough if overcooked. She came back after 10 minutes saying "there is no more." I was a bit annoyed because what establishment doesn't put bread on the table? The reason why I'm giving only 3 stars is because after a while we were hungry after the salad and asked for bread and the server said she would ask. The bar was open bar on wine, beer and mimosas and soda. The menu was on the table at each place setting. There was a bowl out butter packets as well. On the table was one plate with cinnamon bread, some muffins and a few fruit tarts. At exactly 2 pm they started bringing the salad out. The decor of the place is absolutely beautiful I have to say. Apparently even after my cousin informed them they still kept doing the same thing. There was a little bit of an issue with staff sending guests to the wrong room and my cousin had to go to the front and remind them what room they needed to send the guests too. I arrived at 2pm and was shown to the room where the baby shower was being held. It was really crowded with people waiting for tables to have lunch or celebrate whatever occasion they were celebrating. The baby shower was during the month of December so everything was decorated beautifully. 9 months ago I went to this place for my cousins baby shower.
